While some professional poker players don’t have a single WPT Online Series title, Michael Addamo from the UK managed to secure two of them in the same week. After winning the WPT High Roller Turbo and taking home $87,459, Addamo secured another $363,661 for winning the $25,500 Super High Roller.
Michael Addamo, the professional poker player from the UK, won two WPT Online Series titles in only a week. Earlier this week, he won the WPT High Roller Turbo and took home $87,459. Now, on Thursday, Addamo got his second title after winning the $25,500 Super High Roller.
The thirteenth event brought him a hefty prize of $363,661. To win the $25,500 Super High Roller, Addamo had to eliminate six other players. The game itself did not take long and under two hours, Addamo won his second WPT Online Series title.
At the final table action, Addamo was a chip leader from the start. Although Sergi Reixach was second to last when it comes to chip count, he was the first player to hit the rail. Reixach from Mexico finished 7th and took home $53,915. The next eliminated player was Duco Ten Haven from the Netherlands. Ranking sixth, Haven took home a prize of $62,645.
Matthias Eibinger from Austria was the second chip leader at the start of the final table action. However, he was the fifth player to leave the game with $74,774. Eibinger was followed by another Austrian player, Pascal Hartmann, who finished fourth, taking home $100,993. The next player to hit the rail was Almedin Imsirovic from Mexico. By ranking third, Imsirovic collected a $145,663 prize.
Before being announced the winner of the $25,500 Super High Roller, Addamo had to face one more opponent. In the final action, it was him against Artur Martirosian from Russia. After an impressive play, Martirosian took second place and went home with $223,350.
